Specialist drilling waste company, TWMA, has celebrated eight years LTI (lost time incident) free operations in Egypt.
The milestone was achieved on operations across its Cairo and Alexandria bases where more than 45 national employees are based.
Abdelrahman Amin, TWMA’s General Manager – Egypt, said: “This is a significant achievement for all at TWMA and demonstrates our commitment to safe operations. Safety is always the first priority and I am very proud of the team who have worked hard to achieve this outstanding milestone.”
TWMA provides a number of drilling waste management solutions including treatment of NAF drill cuttings, with the company’s award-winning TCC RotoMill® technology.
Mr Amin continued: “I would like to thank everyone for their continuous efforts in maintaining the highest health and safety standards and we look forward to achieving the next milestone.”
Commenting on TWMA’s commitment to safety, Brian Scott, Group HSEQ Manager at TWMA said: “This milestone is testament to our team in Egypt who work hard every day to ensure safe working practices.
“Earlier this year we launched the TWMA Stay Safe Programme which gives employees the confidence to carry out work activities in a safe and controlled manner, whilst empowering all employees to intervene if they ever see an unsafe act. I would like to congratulate our team in Egypt who have fully embraced this programme to further strengthen TWMA’s safety culture.”
